all'entrata ci sono i metal dector ma guardano solo alle bombe poi ti fanno passare un altro controllo con il rilevatore io la telecamera l'avevo ma ho solo registrato due pezzi lo spazio e troppo e ti vedono ti lasciano solo registrare con le fotocamere ma io l'ho a bergamo, comunque se trovi una buona fotocamera si possono convertire i file in mpg.
l'arena e bellissima ma ci sono troppe persone che ti guardano e parecchi stronzi e non mi sembra giusto che dopo aver pagato 780 euro due biglietti debba avere 20 persone che mi fissano per 3 ore e per questo io concerti in paesi come la germania, londra, finlandia ect ect non ci andro mai piu.

concerto dell-altra sera bello, beast of burden a sorpresa, respectable nettamente superiore a quella di losanna, rocks off un finale disastroso, paint it black devastante.
l-arena mi piace molto, non troppo grossa, classica arena all-americana, infatti la birra fa schifo, ma si vede abbastanza bene anche in piccionaia

ieri mattina stones convention in un hotel, un sacco di materiale bootleg cd dvd libri genesis chitarre etc etc
oggi sotto l-acqua di fila abbey road-edith gove-chayne walk

ci prepariamo ora per la seconda data di stasera, ma si parla tanto anche di questa voce che e- girata sul fatto che domenica sia l-ultimo concerto dei rolling stones, staremo a vedere

Last night was one of those Stones shows where they played as if their lives depended on it and they certainly pulled out some real plums. Start Me Up was as perfunctory as ever but as soon as Let's Spend The Night Together started up you knew that they were going to throw in some rarities.

The first key moment came as Keith revved up the opening chords of All Down The Line, a song they play all too rarely. We could have been back in the 70s because it had that same sense of urgency as when they first toured it.

The next real jaw dropping moment came when Mick sang the first lines to Shine A Light...."saw you stretched out in room 1009, with a smile on your face and a tear right in your eye". The audience went mad as Chuck Leavell coaxed those opening Southern Baptist chords out of his organ. We were together, we were unified as the 02 transformed into a Sunday morning prayer meeting. Yessiree, this was prime Exile material being exhumed. Let's hope Brian was looking down and smiling as Jagger sang the line "berber jewellery jangling down the street".

So many fans had been wanting Midnight Rambler and then seven songs in after 30 seconds of some guitar weaving from Keith and Ronnie, Mick started blowing that harp...Keith started that relentless, eternal duh duh duh duh duh duh duh riff and we were away on a rampaging, pillaging hayride of a version. At 11 minutes, not the longest rendition ever but still intense as Keith and Ronnie traded licks that sounded like they were coming straight out of a south side Chicago juke joint. When the band rock this good there can be absolutely no argument that they are the best in the world.

Lisa Fisher got her chance to shine on I Go Crazy and then came another classic moment, Keith made a joke about the press furore of them smoking on the first night at the 02 and then lit up. After a few drags he threw the ciggie down and laughed in that throaty cackle, "ah, it's only cotton wool". What a man. Rebel till the end.

There were no surprises with the B-stage songs and with the band now on the home straight it seemed as they would just go into overdrive mode and churn out those old warhorse singles at the end of the set. But the next treat came after a lively Sympathy when Keith started his flamenco style intro to Paint It Black. This was perhaps the best version I've ever seen them perform and I've seen them 30 times now. This was truly mesmerising and Charlie was heroic pounding out that insistent beat and as Keef and Ronnie's guitars howled as Jagger sung his love lorne lyric of 'having to turn his head until his darkness goes'.

So a barnstormer of a gig. How will they top that on Sunday. What other gems will they unearth. Many people seem to want Gimme Shelter and Memory Motel. We will have to wait and see.

"I cannot believe what I just witnessed tonight and I never go into a show thinking this might happen. But at this point, I believe that in 32 years and 44 shows, tonight was the greatest Rolling Stones concert that I have ever seen. Maybe I will change my mind later, but this is what I think and feel at this point.

a few remarks only at this point --

as good as tuesday's show was, triply better.

great set list

highlights: All Down the Line, Satisfaction, Jumpin Jack Flash, and Midnight Rambler. But almost everything really. And oh, Midnight Rambler. Keith seemed to be riffing so hard and the band has slightly changed and extended the number of late. I cannot adequately describe things so I am not conveying things properly.

They were VERY into it, especially Mick and Keith with a lot of smiles and a LOT of movement from Mick. And everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

At the end, during Brown Sugar, Mick went over and brought Lisa and Bernard out to sing with him center stage. The intensity level rose even more. Suddenly, Keith and Ronnie are physically in the middle of this mix of Mick/Bernard/Lisa.... everyone is intermixed all together and playing their ass off and having THE TIME OF THEIR LIVES!!!

So, the end of my remarks and I know I have not really made a good "case" but I just cannot properly and adequately describe what I just saw. And I am tired and it is 1:22 am.

I am also leaving things out that I will likely think of later. I may supplement this with more impressions later.
