Io mi sono fatto un'idea... Credo che stonesism significhi "stonismo" quindi tutte le frasi tipiche o dette da loro nelle interviste o nei testi delle canzoni. Però non so cosa ci sia dietro alla mailing list

The Rolling Stones will stage their first ever major exhibition at London’s prestigious Saatchi Gallery, opening to the public on 6 April 2016 until September 2016. EXHIBITIONISM will be the most comprehensive and immersive insight into a group described by critics as ‘The Greatest Rock ‘n’ Roll Band’, taking over nine themed galleries spread across two entire floors at the Saatchi Gallery on King's Road, London. As well as over five hundred Rolling Stones important and unseen artefacts from the band’s personal archives, the exhibition will take the public through the band’s fascinating fifty year history, embracing all aspects of art & design, film, video, fashion, performance, and rare sound archives. At the heart of the exhibition is of course the Stones musical heritage that took the group from being a hard working London blues band in the early 1960’s to becoming inspirational cultural icons adored by millions.

Over five decades the Stones have shaped popular culture, often in their own image, and this exhibition will look back through every facet of the band’s career to offer a unique perspective that only the bands own archive can provide. EXHIBITIONISM will be the largest touring experience of this kind ever to be staged by a band or artist, and continues the proud tradition by the band of groundbreaking innovation combined with the highest production values.

EXHIBITIONISM has taken three years of meticulous planning and will offer a comprehensive insight into the band in a way that has never before been attempted. The exhibition is an interactive tour through the band’s vast artistic oeuvre, and includes original stage designs, dressing room and backstage paraphernalia, rare guitars and instruments, iconic costumes, rare audio tracks and unseen video clips, personal diaries and correspondence, original poster and album cover artwork, and unique cinematic presentations. Collaborations and work by the vast array of artists, designers, musicians and writers will be included in the exhibition – from Andy Warhol, Shepard Fairey, Alexander McQueen, and Ossie Clark to Tom Stoppard and Martin Scorsese.

Mick Jagger commented, “We've been thinking about this for quite a long time but we wanted it to be just right and on a large scale. The process has been like planning our touring concert productions and I think that right now it’s an interesting time to do it.”

Keith Richards commented, “While this is about the Rolling Stones, it's not necessarily only just about the members of the band. It’s also about all the paraphernalia and technology associated with a group like us, and it’s this, as well as the instruments that have passed through our hands over the years, that should make the exhibition really interesting.”

Charlie Watts added, ‘’It’s hard to believe that it's more than fifty years since we began and it is wonderful to look back to the start of our careers and bring everything up to date at this exhibition.’’

Ronnie Wood said, “The scene was great down the King’s Road in the 1960’s. That was where you went to hang out to watch the fashions go by. So it is appropriate that our EXHIBITIONISM will be housed at the wonderful Saatchi Gallery.”

EXHIBITIONISM is promoted and presented by Australian company iEC (International Entertainment Consulting) with the full participation of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood. The immersive exhibition will use nine different rooms spanning over 1,750 square meters, each with its own distinctly designed environment, that will show how the band has changed the way we experience rock and roll.

...Io ho la netta impressione che "Exhibitionism" sia molto più che "solo" una mostra itinerante di memorabilia Rotolante...Credo fermamente che "Exhibitionism" sia il "Concept" dei Rolling nel 2016, con annessi Tour Europeo e Album nuovo magari con lo stesso titolo o quasi...Sarebbe un'operazione di marketing strategica e direi eccezionale, e penso proprio che così sarà!!

Io ero quello del 'No need to write a new album', motivato soprattutto dai timori sulla tenuta di Keith e dalla presenza di ottime outtakes su cui lavorare. Questo Zip Code Tour mi ha fatto cambiare idea! Adesso spero che vadano in studio...sento che registrerebbero un ottimo album! Sarebbe un peccato non sfruttare questo momento in cui mi paiono tutti sereni ed in ottima forma.

...io spero davvero che entrino in studio e facciano quello che meglio sanno fare ! Più passa il tempo e più ho la sensazione che questa speranza si trasformi in realtà. Oggi sono impegnati nel tour, ma tra un po i concerti termineranno, magari faranno qualcosa in settembre, ma poi credo che vadano in sala di incisione.
Ammetto che io sono sempre ottimista e positivo con loro e quindi perdo in obiettività, ma oggi questa band sembra diversa, sembra diversa anche da quella dell'ABB tour, ma anche degli altri ultimi tour, oggi sembrano essere una vera grande band, dimenticate ripicche, gelosie ecc. dimenticata la bottiglia e droghe varie, questi credo che abbiano preso coscienza della loro età quindi vogliono fare ancora qualcosa che li diverti, finché possono E' bello vederli tutti scherzare....
Certo che ascoltando gli ultimi lavori live e vedendo i video oltre che avere assistito ad un paio di concerti, Keith non è più quello del "faccio tutto io", ma ora conscio dei suoi limiti fisici, lascia spazio al suo compare, che finalmente sobrio riesce a mantenere gli Stones ad alti livelli. Non dimentichiamo poi Mick, che è un mostro della natura, ma sopratutto oggi canta davvero alla grande e che dire di Charlie ? Lui forse avrebbe smesso ancor prima di Bill, ma poi credo che alla fine si diverte un sacco e quindi è ancora lì con la sua batteria ! Lunga vita agli Stones !!!!

che dire ragazzi..hanno un ottimo feeling..da sala di registrazione e secondo me hanno del materiale da sviluppare,i concerti americani sono fenomenali..mi ha sorpreso keith richards..e un altro chitarrista rispetto anche a due anni fa'..ron wood ha finalmente fatto ingresso negli stones a pieno titolo..mick e charlie sono le garanzie...io li aspetto nel 2016 in europa.

Una mostra dedicata a Mick Jagger e soci. Tre anni di lavoro per mettere insieme più di 500 pezzi

«Abbiamo pensato a questa cosa per molto tempo, perché volevamo che fosse perfetta e grandiosa. Il procedimento è stato simile a organizzare un tour e penso che questo sia un buon momento per una simile iniziativa». È ciò che ha dichiarato all'NME Mick Jagger a proposito della mostra dedicata ai Rolling Stones. Si chiamerà infatti Exhibitionism la prima mostra sulla band che aprirà a partire dal 6 aprile 2016 alla Saatchi Gallery di Londra. La chiusura è prevista per il mese di settembre.

Ci sono voluti tre anni per mettere insieme più di 500 pezzi tra progetti di scenografie, chitarre e strumenti rari, oggetti del backstage, video e audio inediti, poster e molto altro ancora. Il tutto sarà distribuito su nove temi esposti sui due piani dell'edificio.
Saranno presenti anche opere di designer, artisti e filmmaker come Alexander McQueen, Ossie Clark, Andy Warhol, Tom Stoppard e Shepard Fairey.

I biglietti per la mostra Exhibitionism saranno venduti a partire dal prossimo 15 luglio su www.stonesexhibitionism.com o direttamente presso la Saatchi Gallery.

La mostra sarà spostata poi in altre 12 città mondiali per circa un anno.

Keith Richards ha dichiarato a proposito di Exhibitionism: «Anche se la mostra è sui Rolling Stones, non è necessariamente solo sui componenti della band. E' anche dedicata agli oggetti e alla tecnologia associati a un gruppo come noi, poi ci sono gli strumenti che abbiamo avuto in mano nel corso degli anni, a rendere il tutto davvero interessante».
