più o meno le solite cose....ma rispunta il nuovo album solista di Keith Richards pare leggendo quì che Bobby Keys abbia suonato in questo presunto nuovo album di Keith con gli Winos! <tele

Rolling Stones Add More Live Dates, Says Touring Member!

"I feel like it's kind of winding down," Bobby Keys tells Billboard. "This may be sort of the 'Sayonara, see you later, keep in touch'"

ore signs have surfaced pointing to some special Rolling Stones 50th anniversary shows taking place before the year's out.

In a new interview with Q magazine, guitarist Keith Richards confirms that "We've got some shows in London, I believe, and in New York, but I really can't talk about any of that at the moment. They've put the gag on me on this. You can hint!"

Rolling Stones to Play Brooklyn, London in November

It's the most concrete nod so far about a planned pair of shows on each side of the Atlantic. Billboard was first to report that the band will play two dates at London's O2 Arena and two at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn next month.

Meanwhile, Bobby Keys, the Stones' regular saxophonist, confirms to Billboard that the group is "gonna do some more concerts, starting in November with two in England and then a couple here in the States, then there's a few added concerts after that. Keith told me a couple months ago there was something in the wind and just be ready to go. I'm waiting for them to send me the plane ticket and the information, and then I'll go."

The Stones have plenty going on as those potential shows loom closer. The U.S. edition of "The Rolling Stones 50" coffee table book is due out Oct. 16. "Crossfire Hurricane," the new documentary directed by Brett Morgen, will debut at the London Film Festival and in theaters around Great Britain on Oct. 18, with its North American bow set for Nov. 15 on HBO. Another documentary, " The Rolling Stones Charlie is My Darling -- Ireland 1965," comes out Nov. 6, while a week later the group's new greatest hits set, "GRRR!," rolls out in four different configurations, all featuring the two new tracks -- "Gloom and Doom" and "One Last Shot" -- that the Stones recorded during August in Paris.

Of course, there's speculation -- as there always is -- that whatever the Stones do will be its last acts as a live entity. Keys, who's also been recording with Richards for his next solo album, says he suspects that might the case -- but with a caveat.

"The reality is this train is going to pull into the last station pretty soon -- I don't know how soon. I've been saying this since 1980," he notes with a laugh. "But I feel like it's kind of winding down. This may be sort of the 'Sayonara, see you later, had a good time, keep in touch.' I don't know that for sure. I haven't officially been told anything...I just take my cue primarily from what Keith says, so we'll have to see."

gli Stones stanno provando un bel po di canzoni in questi giorni in francia ormai ci siamo....

The Rolling Stones' rehearsals in France, Oct 2012

The Rolling Stones have a new Best Of... "GRRR!" out soon with a couple of new tracks recorded in Paris at the end of August.
As the band is getting ready to play a couple of shows at the O2 Arena in London at the end of November and a couple more in NYC at the beginning of December and maybe some more...

We left Paris for the country side for a couple of days to (try to) listen to the rehearsals, nice bet as we heard many songs from their back catalogue and a couple of new ones including "Doom & Gloom" (here on audio) and "One more shot", which was a world exclusive for us, as the song has never been heard anywhere yet.
Rehearsals started at the beginning of the month and will end in a couple of weeks.

-Here's a list of songs that were rehearsed on Oct 11 (not in order):
Miss you, It's only Rock'n roll, Tumbling dice, You got me rocking, Let it bleed, Sitting on the dock of the bay, respectable, far away eyes, Doom & gloom, paint it Black, I wanna be your man, Not fade away, Brown sugar, If you can't rock me, some girls

-Songs rehearsed on Oct 12 (in order):
Bitch, All down the line, rocks off,Dead flowers, Last time, Honky Tonk women, Going to a gogo, Ladyjane, Down & Gloom, One more shot, shine a light, can't always get..., happy.

To answer all questions: YES we do have recorded "One more shot", don't know if we'll post this one as we don't want to be in trouble with the Stones or people working with them... maybe later but the song sounds a bit like "doom" , less rock more groovy with a better chorus. It would have been my choice for the first single instead of "Doom"
We may post "I wanna be your man" as we love The Beatles over here.

ci siamo ci siamo !!!!

The Rolling Stones frontman, Mick Jagger, has confirmed that the band are to play live dates before the end of the year. Stereoboard understands that an official announcement from the band is expected around 12noon today, regarding a live show in London. Check back to Stereoboard for all the details.

UPDATE: The Rolling Stones announce '50 Years And Counting' November London O2 Arena live dates - details HERE.

Jagger's confirmation follows last week's revelation by the band's long-time saxophonist Bobby Keys, who confirmed the veteran rockers will be on stage next month.

In addition, The Rolling Stones unveiled their brand new track 'Doom And Gloom' last week. The track is taken from 'GRRR!', a greatest hits collection set for release on the 12th November 2012 for the world, excluding North America, and on the 13th November 2012 in North America.

The new track constitutes the first time Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood have all been together in the recording studio since completing the exalted 'A Bigger Bang' album in 2005, and follow on from the critically-acclaimed expanded re-releases of the historic 40th Anniversary live Madison Square Garden concert 'Get Yer Ya-Ya’s Out' in November 2009, and of two of their seventies masterworks, 'Exile on Main St.', in May 2010, and 'Some Girls', in November 2011.

Available in five different formats, including a 3CD 50-track version including 50 tracks, and a 4CD super-deluxe version gathering a whopping 80 tracks, 'GRRR!' tells the fascinating ongoing story of the Greatest Rock’n'Roll Band In The World, with the inclusion of 'Doom And Gloom' and a second new track 'One Last Shot', both completed by the group in Paris, France in August 2012.

Concerti dei Rolling Stones. Mick Jagger lascia intendere: forse altri

22 novembre 2012 - 26 gennaio 2013
Martedì-Sabato 10-17
Zebra One Art Gallery, 1 Perrins Court, Hampstead, Londra, NW3 1QX
