The Rolling Stones are to be chronicled in a kaleidoscopic new film, Crossfire Hurricane, that documents key periods of their career and their incredible adventures. The film will be broadcast live by satellite to cinemas from the London Film Festival on Thursday 18 October and include live coverage from the red carpet before the film screening begins.

Directed by Brett Morgen, the film features historical footage, much of it widely unseen, and commentary from Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Ronnie Wood and former Stones Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor. Period interviews, extensive live performance material and news archive footage will complete the documentary, which takes its title from the opening lines of “Jumping Jack Flash”.

...Speriamo almeno che tra Ottobre e Novembre cioè il periodo in cui a ronnie è stato detto di tenersi libero da impegni, possano andare in studio a registrare qualche pezzo nuovo o almeno a provare pezzi vecchi per eventuali concerti il prossimo anno, dopotutto in Ottobre saranno tutti insieme a Londra, quale occasione migliore?!

io non credo propio che registreranno un nuovo album o nuove canzoni c'è già Grrr per festeggiare l'anniversario e mi potrò anche sbagliare ma Grrr sarà propio il disco "nuovo" che accompagnerà il Tour il GrrrTour!!!!

A new documentary focusing on The Rolling Stones during the years after guitarist Ronnie Wood joined the band will be released on DVD on November 20. The Rolling Stones -- Under Review 1975-1983: The Ronnie Wood Years (Part 1) will cover the fruitful-yet-turbulent period for the British rock legends that began when the Faces guitarist signed on to take the place of the departing Mick Taylor.
Between 1975 and 1983, The Stones released such successful and well-received albums as Some Girls and Tattoo You, while mounting a number of major tours. The 115-minute video will include rare footage and exclusive interviews.

Ronnie è stato allertato per Ottobre - Novembre per tenerlo sobrio per le varie presentazioni che hanno in ballo.

Si, attendiamo per il tour...Ma caro Rosso, spero di sbagliarmi per le loro tasche, ma Grrr! non credo che stravenderà a pacchi, tra l'altro a quei prezzi...a meno che i fans non perdano tutti i loro cd/vinili dove hanno già su "Satisfaction" e "Brown sugar" e gli sia impedito in qualche modo di scaricare i due pezzi nuovi, per quanto riguarda la maggior parte degli adolescenti credo che sia già tanto se per caso gli capiti di sbirciare dentro un negozio di dischi, se possono scricarlo in qualche modo lo scaricano...Comunque, staremo a vedere, io mi aspetto qualcos'altro da loro e sono focalizzato su due uscite che pregusto ghiotte:il Film-Documentario e la Deluxe edition di "Charlie is my Darling", ecco questa e' un'uscita da non perdere e su cui discuterci su ore ed ore, altro che Grrr!

le due uscite citate da te Mailexile sono le uniche cose interessanti per il momento, e in particolar modo sono molto curioso per i nuovo documentario...poi che Grrr venda o non venda a me poco interessa da me non vedono nemmeno un centesimo per quanto mi riguarda.....in effetti attendiamo questo benedetto Tour!

Io spero invece che venda molto tra i giovani, ovvio che neanche io lo comprero', pero' potrebbe essere utile a chi si vuole avvicinare alla loro storia. Attendiamo tour e film, che dire d'altro?
