..."Ultimato"!?!Perche', ci stanno gia' lavorando su!?!

A quanto pare c'e' un po' di materiale rimasto inutilizzato quando registrarono a Bigger bang e su qualche brano sembra stiano lavorandoci su.
Ma questo gia' si sapeva. Comunque sono informazioni che andranno verificate quanto prima, perche' ottenute per vie non "convenzionali".

Se la storia dell'album è vera, credo si tratti di un album di rivisitazioni (in chiave tecnica moderna) di cose che avevano nei cassetti. Non la vedo molto la cosa che si ritrovano in studio e pensano, scrivono, strimpellano come ai vecchi tempi

E' successo con Tattoo you e anche con altri famosi album e non è detto che qualche brano venga fuori da quelle session.

Se sono gli scarti di ABB li portassero in una discarica di riuti speciali, questi "scarti"...



Eppoi Max scusa, cos'è tutto questo mistero?

Totore, nulla di segreto. In Inghilterra si vocifera che dopo la registrazione per il tributo a Ian si sia utilizzato lo studio anche per lavorare su altro. Ripeto, notizie tutte da verificare che pero' non ho trovato sui consueti canali mediatici, ma che arrivano strettamente da canali inglesi. Poi io ne so come voi. Ripeto, tutte notizie da verificare!!! Certo, non aspettatevi dei comunicati stampa o quant'altro. Se vogliamo reperire una qualsiasi informazione sui nostri, dobbiamo muoverci per vie traverse e non certo aspettando qualche giornale o sito che ci propina le solite pappardelle da almeno 3 anni.
Io venni a sapere che gli Stones suonarono a Roma nel luglio del 2007 almeno un mese prima che la notizia fosse comunicata ufficialmente, semplicemente per il fatto che lo stadio deve essere prenotato per tempo . Stiamo parlando di comune di Roma . Chi vuol capire capira'. Se gli Stones prenotano una sala di registrazione ci sara' un motivo!!!!

...Max, sai mica in che periodo e' stato registrato l'album tributo a Ian e quindi eventualmente iniziato il lavoro dei nostri su qualche demo?!

2011-02-01 - Mentre si parla ancora di un probabile o auspicabile nuovo tour dei Rolling Stones, che nel 2012 festeggerebbero il cinquantennale, è scoppiata una aspra battaglia legale tra lo storico promoter del gruppo, Michael Cohl, e la Live Nation. Tutto ruota intorno all'accordo fatto da Cohl con Live Nation al momento di lasciare l'azienda, nel 2008: accordo che le due parti pensano sia stato reciprocamente violato. In particolare, Cohl ha risposto adesso alla causa intentata da Live Nation lo scorso novembre, sostenendo di aver ricevuto delle ingerenze che hanno lo scopo di mandare all'aria il tour dei Rolling Stones che lui starebbe preparando. E qui, dal percorso della causa, si intuisce che in effetti un tour sarebbe in preparazione, perlomeno nelle intenzioni. L'ultimo tour, da record, del gruppo di Mick Jagger e Keith Richards risale al 2007.
Al momento di lasciare Live Nation, Michael Cohl aveva firmato una sorta di patto di non belligeranza commerciale, che lo lasciava libero di proseguire la sua attività di promoter con nomi come Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd e Barbra Streisand. Ma Live Nation lo ha denunciato perché non aveva pagato una parte dei soldi dovuti per sigliare l'accordo del 2008. E sono scoppiate le accuse reciproche: Cohl ha detto che Live Nation tramava per soffiargli il tour. In tutto questo, i Rolling Stones vorrebbero non essere tirati in mezzo alla contesa. Se c'è davvero un tour da preparare, bisogna che le acque si calmino e che ognuno abbia assicurata la sua parte.

Ronnie, who just recently has finanlized his divorce from his former wife, Jo, said as a sideremark that the Stones would maybe tour again next year, i.e. 2012 (thisislondon.co.uk). That's the time of what would be the much anticipated 50th anniversary tour... and it's going to be huge should it ever happen. Right now, it seems more and more less likely that the boys go on tour this year. Plans for such a project would take up to one year to plan; and until now, nothing official has surfaced so far what would point in this direction.

Then, we hear some intersting stuff from a battle between Live Nation and their former chairman, Michael Cohl, who has been promoting the last tours of the Rolling Stones. Naturally, keith and Mick don't want to get involved in that dispute. It's interesting to see, that the dipute centers in parts around the next Stones tour, which is still shrouded in the mist of maybe ....

Now Cohl has struck back, saying that it was Live Nation that first breached the very same contract by attempting to "interfere" and "destroy" Cohl's opportunity to procure promotional rights to a Rolling Stones tour later this year.

Qualcosa si muove finalmente. A mio avviso tra poco ci sarà l'annuncio, si appianeranno anche le divergenze legali che con la musica nulla c'entrano perchè comunque la torta Stones è troppo ghiotta per non mangiarsela.
