Each set contains - Three DVDs: the concert film "Ladies & Gentlemen", the documentary "Stones In Exile" and a third disc of additional previously unreleased bonus material, these DVDs are set in the cover of an 11" square, 40 plus page hardback book of photographs from the 1972 "Exile On Main Street" tour taken by Ethan Russell with additional photographs from the tour by Bob Gruen, two unique 35mm film cells from a print of "Ladies & Gentlemen" - different cells in every single box, a 5ft long black faux silk scarf with the title and Rolling Stones logo in silver glitter based on the original scarf given out at the 1974 cinema premiere of "Ladies & Gentlemen", a reproduction of the original 1974 film poster for the cinema premiere of "Ladies & Gentlemen".

On 8 November 2010, Eagle Rock Entertainment release the “Ladies & Gentlemen – Deluxe Limited Edition” by The Rolling Stones [Cat. No. EREDV815]. Only one single production run of these deluxe sets will be created.

The three DVDs featured in this special release contain respectively, the concert film “Ladies & Gentlemen”, the documentary “Stones In Exile” and a third disc of additional previously unreleased bonus material which is unavailable elsewhere. The DVDs are set in the cover of an 11” square, 40 plus page hardback book of photographs from the 1972 “Exile On Main Street” tour taken by Ethan Russell with additional photographs from the tour by Bob Gruen.

Also included are two unique 35mm film cells from a print of “Ladies & Gentlemen” – hand cut from a single print of the film ensuring two unique cells in every box. Disc One – Ladies & Gentlemen

The legendary concert film “Ladies & Gentlemen…The Rolling Stones” has been fully restored and remastered from the original film print and multitrack audio masters and now finally receives its first authorised release on DVD and Blu-ray. Filmed in Texas in 1972 over four nights of the “Exile On Main Street” US tour, “Ladies & Gentlemen” was premiered at the Ziegfield Theatre in New York on 15th April 1974 and released into selected cinemas across the USA shortly afterwards. It was billed at the time as “…the most powerful rock film ever made” and is considered by many fans to be the finest Rolling Stones performance ever captured on film.

Disc Two – Stones In Exile

In the spring of 1971 the Rolling Stones reluctantly departed the UK to take up residence in France. Keith Richards settled at a villa called Nellcôte in Villefranche-sur-Mer and this became the venue for the recording of much of the band’s classic “Exile On Main Street” album. “Stones In Exile” tells the story in the band’s own words and through extensive archive footage of their time away from England and the creation of this extraordinary double album, which many regard as the Rolling Stones’ finest achievement.

Bonus Features:

Extensive additional footage including interviews with all the band members, interviews with well known “Exile” fans and Mick Jagger and Charlie Watts returning to Olympic Studios and Jagger’s country house Stargroves where a lot of the early work on the album was done.

Disc Three – Additional Bonus Material

Previously unreleased material from the 1972/3 Rolling Stones world tour in support of the classic “Exile On Main Street” album. The disc runs for approximately 40 minutes and contains:

Footage from the Dick Cavett TV show – features interviews and backstage footage from the concerts at New York’s Madison Square Garden in 1972 which were the culmination of the US tour featured in “Ladies & Gentlemen”.

Footage from Australian TV – features interviews with Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Mick Taylor filmed during the Australian leg of the tour.

Mi sembra un'ottima cosa, sia per il libro che per la riproduzione del poster originale.
Il disco 1 non si discute, il disco 3 è sicuramente interessante, il Dick Cavett show si trova in qualità buona come boots quindi sarà sicuramente migliorato. Lo special della TV australiana dovrebbe essere la press conference del febbraio 73, anche quella già in buona qualità sui boots.Non concepisco il riempimento con il disco 2 di exile, pensavo alla pubblicazione del Cocksuker blues, ma questo fa ben sperare per il prossimo cofanetto.

Si, è a tiratura limitata e numerata e addirittura per ora proprio a quel tipo di cofanetto non è permessa la vendita fuori dagli stati Uniti e si sta cercando un'altro venditore per capire il prezzo e sopratutto i pezzi !!!
Chiaramente poi se uno non è interessato come noi fissati a quel tipo di box ce ne sono comunque altri in commercio.

La foto e le specifiche dei DVD possono essere simili perchè non ho trovato altre immagini per rappresentarlo, ma riguardo al tiraggio limitato e ai pochi accorgimenti che sicuramente saranno o gli autografi o un libretto diverso è differente.
Come scritto sopra è una di quelle serie per collezionisti, come era accaduto per exile o addirittura per il 45 giri di plundered my soul, che era esattamente quello che abbiamo tutti, ma con una targhetta posta retro che numerava le copie.

verissimo sembra euguale , ma e' vero che anche che i contenuti all'interno possano essere non propriamente simili dalle tirature limitate ... a volte e' capitato che ho comperato dei box che descrivevano ugualmente e perfettamente i loro contenuti, poi aperto o come dice Olia tutto era differente anche se i gadget erano quelli ..oppure adirittura mancavano .
per esempio guarda i Metallica il cofanetto di D. Magnetic doveva contenere anche chiavetta usb con logo della bvand e' nel mercato italiano questo gadget era compreso , aperto il box al posto della chiavetta c'era la bandiera...

Allora lo ripeto per l'ultima volta, sopratutto per non farci passare per debuttanti, il cofanetto di cui parlavamo è a tiratura limitata NUMERATO, come fanno sempre per tutte le edizioni , come citato sopra per farvi un esempio recente tipo il 45 giri di Plundered My Soul, identico all'originale ma NUMERATO per i collezionisti e non è materiale reperibile presso la grande distribuzione, per cui cortesemente Lennon evita(ancora una volta e spero l'ultima) di dare informazioni sbagliate che possono risultare dannose per l'utenza di RSI.
