Giusto per chi è addentro tutte le storie assurde su questo fantomatico posto...ho appena scoperto che gli Immensi CRYBABYS di "Honest" John Plain e Darrell Bath nel 1991 registrarono un loro concerto proprio nella villa degli Stones...chi ne sa qualcosa?
Magari ho fortuna ed oltre a qualche notizia riesco a recuperare anche il bootleg!

VILLA NELLCOTE

Villa Nellcôte is a stunning 19th century sixteen-room mansion built on the waterfront of Villefranche-sur-Mer in the Côte d'Azur region of southern France. Nellcôte and its surrounding private beach was leased for an extended period of time during the summer of 1971 by Keith Richards, guitarist for The Rolling Stones, and was the legendary site for recording sessions of the band's seminal album, Exile on Main Street, #7 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
Richards, along with the other members of The Rolling Stones, had fled England in response to the large amount of taxes the British government wanted to collect from the band. Along with his bandmates, Richards had to be out of the country by April 5, 1971, or the government would have forcibly confiscated the funds in their bank accounts. As such, Nellcôte and the south of France became an unlikely refuge for the group of "exiles".

History
In the late 1890s, a former banker, Eugene Thomas, built the imposing villa whose frontage was decorated with ionic columns made out of marble. At the outset, the villa bore the name of "Amicitia Castle". In 1919, the villa, since baptized "Nellcôte", was acquired by the Bordes family, famous ship-owners specializing in the transport of soda nitrate between Chile and France. Adding infamy to the residence's history, Nellcôte served as the headquarters of the local Gestapo during the Nazi occupation of France in the early 1940s, with the floor vents in the basement of the villa reportedly being decorated with swastikas.

ragazzi, arrivare davanti a questa villa mi ha dato le stesse emozioni quando vidi la battersea power station a londra immersa nel buio (si sono un fan accanito anche dei pink floyd).
sono passati 30 anni da quando keith la prese in affitto eppure e' un luogo d'incanto, di emozioni solo a vederne gli alberi e il cancello. inoltre e' in una posizione da sballo, sul mare, porticciolo privato.
....se passate da quelle parti andate a citofonare!!!

per quel che riguarda i Crybabys qui c'e' un loro cd con le bonus tracks definite "Live tracks recorded at Villa Nellcote, France, 1991"

Si Jacopo quelle tre traccie sono state incluse in quel doppio CD (prendetelo gente: è Rock'n'Roll allo stato puro!!!) ma ho scoperto che esiste un vero e proprio bootleg di quella data!!
