Rio de la Plata, nella provincia di Buenos Aires, la città più importante della costa atlantica….Arrivo con la motivazione di essere presente ad un evento relativo alla nostra band, e alla sua musica meravigliosa…
L’appuntamento e’ la presentazione del libro “Mezzo secolo con i RS” di Marcelo Gobello, nel piano interrato dell’ auditorium in centro città, un luogo molto accogliente e adatto all’occasione.
Oltre all’autore è presente Black Amaya, storico batterista del rock argentino, con all’attivo lavori tra le band più importanti e soprattutto appassionato di Stones su cui Charlie Watts ha avuto una grande influenza.
L’autore Gobello, introduce il libro parlando della carriera musicale dei RS. Il libro è un dettagliato resoconto della loro storia, con capitoli dedicati a Brian, Altamont, Muddy Waters, padre del blues e massima fonte di ispirazione. Ci sono anche interviste esclusive mai tradotte prima , molte foto e vengono mostrate anche quattro canzoni da Ladies and Gentlemen, su schermo gigante (Dead Flowers, Happy, Tumbling Dice, Love in Vain). Il libro chiude con un consiglio su più bei bootleg per ogni decade.
Un pomeriggio fantastico, una grande presentazione, per un libro che è un must per chi come noi adora i RS, perché “gli Stones sono più di una band, sono uno stile di vita”, e queste parole di Andrew, lo sappiamo, sono assoluta verità

Hola, Marcelo !! antes de todo un abrazo y un gracias por hacernos conocer un libro sobre los rollings, de quien como ti los conoce desde una vida
tu contribuciòn en este forum ensancha la amistad y el amor que tenemos por la misma banda que despues de 50 an^os, todavia nos hace son^or juntos, desde el hemisferio nord hasta el hemisferio sud en Argentina.

yo se que tu conocimiento sobre los Rolling Stones es grande y ancho como el rio de la plata y hay muchas anecdotas que podrias contarnos.... ahora que has volvido a escriver en este forum espero que no nos dejes y de leerte cuanto antes.
